Joe Cronin put himself through college and law school by working, including running his own construction and painting business and teaching Tae Kwon Do.
Mr. Cronin regularly
participated in black belt tournaments around the country, and still draws upon this competitive experience when fighting for those who have
been injured. In 1988, Mr. Cronin graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Hampshire, with a B.S. in Business Administration. He
then moved to Philadelphia to attend Temple University Law School.
After earning his J.D. from Temple in 1991, Joe Cronin began his legal career by representing seriously injured people in medical malpractice cases, construction accidents, products liability, worker’s compensation, motor vehicle cases, trucking accidents, nursing home negligence, Social Security matters and premises liability cases. Mr. Cronin then went on to enjoy a fulfilling career as a partner at Stradley, Ronon, Stevens & Young, a prominent Philadelphia law firm, where he was co-chair of their insurance practice group.
In addition to his work on behalf of the seriously injured, Mr. Cronin also handles commercial litigation disputes, helping people with business problems get a quick resolution. He also regularly sits as an arbitrator and mediator in alternative dispute resolution.
Since 2006, Joe Cronin has served as a Judge Pro Tempore for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Cronin is also a volunteer attorney representing the abused children of Philadelphia working with the Support Center for Child Advocates. He is a former CCD teacher and is a lector at his church.
